5 THE NEVER-ENDING TOUR CONTINUES

5.1 Introduction

The Never-Ending Tour rolled on with 112 new shows. This year there were five "legs":

June – July	US Summer Tour with Phil Lesh & Friends	33 shows
September – October	Europe Fall Tour with Paul Simon	18 shows
October – November	US Fall Tour with Phil Lesh	17 shows

The band was the same as in 1999:

Larry Campbell	electric and acoustic guitar, back-up vocal, fiddle, pedal steel guitar, lap steel guitar, electric & acoustic slide guitar, dobro, bouzouki, mandolin.
Charlie Sexton	electric and acoustic guitar, back-up vocal.
